Small Business Survival Guide
Practical Ideas To Grow Your Small Business
Over the years, I’ve written a lot about small business—what works, what doesn’t, what I’ve learned the hard way, and what I’ve picked up from the many smart business owners I’ve had the privilege to work with. These posts have started conversations, sparked debate, and, more than once, led to real change inside real businesses. I'm excited about the journey and looking forward to its release.
Now, I’m taking everything a step further. I’m excited to announce that I’m writing a book: Small Business Survival Guide. It will be available soon on Amazon in paperback, e-book, and hopefully audiobook.
This book is a compilation of the best ideas and frameworks I’ve shared in past blog posts—refined, expanded, and organized into a practical roadmap for entrepreneurs. I’ve layered in updated statistics, real-world examples, and actionable steps you can take right now to strengthen your business.
But maybe the most important part: this book is just as much a product of your input as it is of my experience. Many of the suggestions, critiques, and thoughtful comments I’ve received over the years have shaped what’s inside. I’ve learned as much from the business owners in my circle as I have from any case study or playbook.
Whether you’re fighting to get your business through a rough patch or trying to build something more scalable and resilient, this book is designed to be a no-nonsense, plain-spoken guide you can actually use—not a bunch of fluff or buzzwords. If you need clarity, you can always give me a call.
If you’ve followed my blogs, thank you. And if you’ve got an idea, story, or challenge you think belongs in the book—or if you just want to give feedback—please reach out. I’d love to hear from you. You can email me directly at mike@capcolumbus.com.
More to come soon.
